INTERNSHIP IN CHINA
We offer German medical students the opportunity to complete their clinical traineeship in China. Prof. Dr. Uwe Ikinger, Heidelberg has been supporting this programme in an excellent way for many years through the annual meetings of the German candidates in spring for selection interviews and to prepare the students knowledgeably for China. Our partner society in Wuhan not only provides sufficient places for this programme, but the German medical students also enjoy the great hospitality of our Chinese-German Medical Society and the Tongji Hospital, Wuhan, and the good and sensitive supervision; they also receive free accommodation and meals as well as pocket money in addition to the knowledge transfer. The reports of the famulants express appreciation for this programme. The Society, together with its partner society in Wuhan, has already arranged over 500 clinical traineeships in recent years.
APPLICATION
Prerequisites for the application are medical studies with a passed first exam, internship experience and English language skills. The German-Chinese Society grants a travel allowance.
We would like to point out that for funding from DAAD, an application must be submitted to the respective university.
